Why should you monitor your colon health?

By Jarrett Kruse

Colon health problems seem to be in the media spotlight more and more over the past decade. The diseases of the Colon are primarily the output of poor eating habits. Like cancer and heart disease, the causes are cumulative and may take several years for the symptoms to appear. It is very important to stay on top of your diet although it can be difficult with today’s fast food culture and the amount of toxins in our diet.

Colon health problems can cause several other problems such as nutritional deficiency even if you have a good diet regimen. If a poor colon health does not improve, it can also lead to not only colon disease but asthma, anemia, fatigue and several other auto-immune diseases. These symptoms are common to several other diseases that’s why poor colon health may not be detected immediately. Colitis and Crohn’s disease are two very common colon disorders which cause an inflammation of the bowels and persistent diarrhea. These symptoms are due to toxic fecal matter that could not be removed if your colon does not function well enough.

With advanced technologies like a colonoscopy, we now have several methods to clean out the colon. However, there is no single remedy which can effectively and completely improve colon health. With treatments such as colon hydrotherapy, exercise, stress management, and of course, a healthier dier, the colon could be cleansed out of these trapped feces. After a person’s colon has been thoroughly cleansed, the feces should fall out easily. It may take months for severe colon health problems to be fully corrected. Body organs may also take a while to undo the toxic damages. It is very difficult to tell if you have colon cancer or not. That is because a lot of the colon cancer early symptoms that you can look for, look a lot like other colon problems that you may or may not have. Therefore the symptoms of colon cancer can be difficult to trace.
